Last weekend Ian and I visited the US capital city, Washington in the District of Columbia (DC). Cosmopolitan, vibrant and laidback; Washington was a delight. We visited the museums and monuments on the Mall. Photographed the White House and the Capitol. Saw Lincoln’s death bed. Admired the architecture and the homes. Were wowed by the vistas. Enjoyed great food from the restaurant week menus of Vidalia and Zaytinya. And wandered around wondering what it would be like to live in a city with more spies than any other city in the world.
